Who Do You Trust? by Papa Roach Review

As many people on the internet have pointed out, this mostly sounds like “Papa Roach tries to be Imagine Dragons” and it is just as bad as it sounds. Musically, the album follows an awful Nu-Metal template meaning that there is very little substance. There are zero surprises instrumentally which means there are also zero interesting moments. Unfortunately, even the music seems good compared to the lyrical content. Half-baked pseudo socio-political philosophies are ingrained within stadium-loud anthemic choruses. Empty provocations for empty brains. A trite and juvenile attempt at art.
