Super Mario Odyssey’s Biggest Barrier Broken! by Karl Jobst Review

I have always found the concept of speed-running interesting and have even dabbled in it myself (for 2 or 3 days I started learning how to speed-run Portal, but there was also a browser-based game I did as well but I forget the name of it now (I have tried finding it again since but have never been able to).

This video details the various record holders at different points as well as outlining specific skips that were found on the way to a sub-1-hour record. Around 2 years after the game originally released, a time of sub-1-hour was finally achieved. A well-researched and interesting documentary-style overlook of the history of speed-running in Super Mario Odyssey.

8/10 – Great
