The Falcon and the Winter Soldier Review

Where WandaVision looks inward, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier looks outward. It struggles to match the technical and narrative strengths and consistency of the former, continuously falling short in both form and content. Slow builds amount to a rushed and shoddily executed final couple of episodes.

5/10 – Mediocre

  1. I completely agree that this didn’t live up to the quality of WandaVision. I LOVED the arc of John Walker’s character but I wasn’t interested in the Flag Smashers plot at all, it felt too generic.

    1. Agreed about John Walker and the Flag Smashers. I think the problem was that they tried to cram too many stories and characters into 6 episodes. On the other hand, WandaVision basically spent 9 episodes on 2 characters and 1 story… much easier to get invested. Plus, WandaVision just had a cooler concept :p
